HEALTH EQUITY INITIATIVES: As we are a city Health Department, our goal everyday is to help our citizens become healthier by providing health services to those who have no insurance or means to health care or health services. We also work with community partners in developing an implamenting progams to create a healthier and safer Detroit for all our residents. We provide information and education to the community about health issues to assist them in making more informed decisions about their health and link them up with our community partners and other organizations who can help them gain assistances we can't provide ourselves.
