HEALTH EQUITY INITIATIVES: The UAB Minority Health and Health Disparities Research Center (MHRC) is a comprehensive research, training, and community-outreach center with a mission is to reduce health disparities through the stimulation and facilitation of interdisciplinary research, training and career development of investigators, and dissemination of evidence-based findings through community-based outreach activities.

This mission is being accomplished through an organizational structure that includes three programs (1. Research Program, 2. Training and Career Development Program, and 3. Community Outreach Program) and three supporting cores (1. Genetics Core, 2. Bioethics Core. and 3. Recruitment and Retention of Participants Core).

ACTIVITIES WITH UNNATURAL CAUSES CAMPAIGN:
- Host a screening event featuring UNNATURAL CAUSES
- Engage in media outreach
- Use the series and materials in trainings or classes
- Post and share information about the series with members and constituents
