HEALTH EQUITY INITIATIVES: We fund Community-based Participatory Research: to encourage and enable communities affected by breast cancer (racial, ethnic, occupational, medically underserved, etc.) to collaborate with research scientists to identify their questions, design and implement studies and communicate results. We are also funding a series of special research initiatives focused on policy, immigation, demographic definitions for breast cancer research (race, ethnicity, culture, socioeconomic status), etc.
