HEALTH EQUITY INITIATIVES: We educate the future public health workforce to understand public health from a broad ecological perspective that encompasses all of the issues listed above. We conduct research into a wide array of public health issues, taking a similar perspective. In partnership with other schools at the University at Albany, we co-sponsor the Center for the Elimination of Minority Health Disparities -- a focal point for research, teaching and service in this area.
