HEALTH EQUITY INITIATIVES: We have a formal Reducing Health Disparities Five Year Plan and three staff members who are dedicated to institutionalizing this work into the core functions of the organization. We participate in a Health Care Interpreter Network to improve linguistic access, conducting training programs to enhance staff competency, sponsor an African American Health Initiative and spotlight efforts in our monthly newsletter.
