Web Site News: Where Are They Now?
Do you ever wonder what happened to the laid-off Electrolux workers in Michigan, or how Terrol Dew Johnson, the Bernal family, or Mary Turner are doing since the documentary was filmed? Check out our updates on people and communities featured in the series - posted to the Documentary section of the UNNATURAL CAUSES Web site.
How does racism impact health? Our latest educational interactivity, Accumulating Advantage, presents a new twist on an old diversity exercise, illustrating how what Dr. Camara Jones of the CDC describes as an "eternity of difference" in experience - between those who confront racism daily and those who rarely think twice about race - translates into disparate outcomes in health.
Also, don't forget to visit our Ask the Experts forums, which have been spurring discussion and debate in email groups and offices around the country! Use our "Send to a Friend" feature to share a link with your colleagues, or download the transcripts as PDFs to include in next semester's readings.
