HEALTH EQUITY INITIATIVES: Our planning council consists of agency representatives that come together for the greater good of children and families in our communities. Our membership includes representatives from early care and education, public health, social services and higher education. We use our contacts and community outreach capability to inform parents, educators, legislators and the community about issues that effect children and families. Health is the foundation upon which opportunties are built and utilized. Without a healthy start, our children have much to overcome.
