HEALTH EQUITY INITIATIVES: Our organization has taken several steps in addressing health equity. First, by using the Unnatural Causes documentary series to address social justice issues. The Department leveraged its influence to have a local foundation fund the re-broadcast of the series on its local Public Broadcast Channel in a primetime viewing slot. This series is being promoted in the business community to address the impact the work environment has on health outcomes. It is also being shown in churches to address the advocacy role they have in addressing social justice issues. Finally, the series is being brought to the average people through viewing at neighborhood association meetings, etc.

ACTIVITIES WITH UNNATURAL CAUSES CAMPAIGN:
- Host a screening event featuring UNNATURAL CAUSES
- Engage in media outreach
- Post and share information about the series with members and constituents
