HEALTH EQUITY INITIATIVES: We are conducting research on social inequalities in health in Montreal. We try to work closely with research users and to co-produce research in order to have evidences be used in intervention/politics. We want to offer an objective lens and gather data to document health inequalities and mechanisms that produce them. Named after a well-known activist who struggle all her life for better living conditions (housing, minimum wages, education, etc.), we are definitively turned towards a sense of equity and consider health as a community asset, that a good health is a benefit for all and we certainly would adhere to the WHO's concept of health for all.
