HEALTH EQUITY INITIATIVES: We are assembling a local index of health equity, a social-epidemiologic tool to evaluate linkages bewtween social and environmental conditions and health outcomes. We are partnering with a local non-profit organization and neighborhood associations to develop policies that address public environmental health concerns related to land use and industry.
