HEALTH EQUITY INITIATIVES: At this point we are educating ourselves on the disparities that exist. We have also put on a dinner and health faire in a 100% poverty school in our city to better inform parents about health issues that effect them and their children. It was a great success. Over 200 people showed up to eat and attend the Faire, twice as many as attended the Parents Back to School Night a year ago. The Principal was thrilled.
