HEALTH EQUITY INITIATIVES: The Institute on Social Exclusion of the Adler School of Professional Psychology was created in the fall of 2005 to advance integration of the concept of "social exclusion" into U.S. public policy discourse and to serve as a key institutional vehicle for the pursuit of the School's vision to promote social justice. The Adler Institutes for Social Change promote social justice through applied research, public awareness and community outreach. One of our areas of focus is social determinants of health and health equity.
