HEALTH EQUITY INITIATIVES: JHA teaches curriculum and workshops on how social, political, economic, and cultural inequities impact health. We have an health action framework that is comprised of four components:
1. knowledge (social determinants of health and health as a human right;
2. compass (advocacy and passion);
3. skills (writing an action letter, facilitation, etc);
4. action (individual and community examples).

JHA is in the process of developing a curriculum manual. We have been using Unnatural Causes to facilitate health equity conversations.
