HEALTH EQUITY INITIATIVES: We are using community based-participatory approaches to address disparities among specific ethnic-cultural-low SES populations, immigrants/migrants, people whose first language is not English, people with low income and/or occupation and/or education and people in outlying geographic areas. We are also holding a state disparities conference in preparation to developing a state disparities plan to improve health equity.
