HEALTH EQUITY INITIATIVES: A legislatively established Office of Minority Health & Health Disparities (MHHD) works in the State Health Department to promote the elimination of health disparities using a systems change approach. Published a MD Plan to Eliminate Minority Health Disparities; published a Health Disparities Data Chartbook; promoting workforce diversity; promoting cultural comptency; funding local projects to reduce health disparities; commenting on proposed legislation that impact disparities; and informing a statewide network of providers, advocates, elected officials, ethnic and racial groups regarding Best Practices and local initiatives to promote partnerships.

ACTIVITIES WITH UNNATURAL CAUSES CAMPAIGN:
- Host a screening event featuring UNNATURAL CAUSES
