HEALTH EQUITY INITIATIVES: We are an organization of individual and organizational members. We are working on a multi-year campaign to achieve universal access to health care in Minnesota. We are attempting to address health equity by organizing in diverse communities, also working for policy that addresses barriers to equity, not just universal access, and embarking on a longer term process with other local organizations to move racial equity to the center of our work, including health care. We also highlight health disparities in our mission statement and public presentations.
