HEALTH EQUITY INITIATIVES: I have contributed the DVD to my nursing school with an invitation from the school chair to develop a presentation I could make with the students (in progress); have shared the content with the Nursing CO with an intent of incorporating the content into nursing orientation (in progress); have shared the DVD with friends and colleagues, more recently with the Director of a Community Partnership School with the intent of sharing content with parents to deepen an understanding which will benefit them as well as thir children; have used content in many instances with patients (I work on a Stroke unit and have talked about effects of unnmitigated stress); most recently, within a course on International Public Health, visited Kennett Square and met with the public health nurse who was a key person involved in creating Project Salud and the Garage (featured in the DVD).
