HEALTH EQUITY INITIATIVES: The Texas Center for Health Disparities at the University of North Texas Health Science Center is committed to prevent, reduce and eliminate health disparities in our communities through research, education and community relations. As part of its education and outreach activities, the Texas Center for Health Disparities supported and funded by National center for Minority Health and Health Disparities (NCMHD) is organizing its Fourth Annual Texas Conference on Health Disparities to be held May 28 and 29 at the University of North Texas Health Science Center. The overall theme for the conference is Targeting Health Disparities Through Prevention.
