HEALTH EQUITY INITIATIVES: APEN believes that all people have a right to a clean and healthy environment, in which their communities can live, work, learn, play, and thrive. We bring together Asian Pacific Islander residents in Oakland and Richmond to bring fundamental changes to institutions that will prioritize the right of every person to a decent, safe, affordable quality of life, and to participate in collectively-made decisions affecting our lives.

In the "Place Matters" episode, the Laotian Organizing Project, one of APEN's project, was featured.
