HEALTH EQUITY INITIATIVES: HealthCare Access Partnership of Dutchess County in collaboration with the Dutchess County Department of Health is sponsoring a public forum on June 10th to provide the general public with an opportunity to learn more about health disparities and to discover why it is important to address these disparities in our community. We will be showing sections of Unnatural Causes: Is Inequality Making us Sick?

Hudson River HealthCare provides affordable primary and preventive health care for all people regardless of their ability to pay. We have been participanted in health disparities collaboratives. We have also received Healthy Communities Access Program funding to address health care disparities in the City of Poughkeepsie, New York, where we have formed a partnership of 15 agencies to address health care disparities.
