HEALTH EQUITY INITIATIVES: We are educating newly graduating nurses to be part of the solution, to take an "active" role in reducing disparities in health. I use the video episodes and have class discussions. I ask the students what it is they, individually can do to increase equity. and social justice as well as reduce disparities in health.

We asked our school to buy two DVDs; other departments are now using this series as well.
