Our local hospital/healthcare district, public health and Kaiser Permanente are members of our collaborative. We are beginning to use Unnatural Causes as the catalyst for dialogue about equity and health issues. We plan to conduct a series of community forums in 2009 to raise awareness about health inequities in our community and begin a dialogue about what action steps can be taken to improve health equity.
