Interfaith Council for Peace and Justice, Unnatural Cause Task Force

LOCATION: Ann Arbor, MI, U.S.A.

ORGANIZATION TYPE: Community / Faith-based

FOCUS AREA: Income & Wealth, Race / Ethnicity

HEALTH EQUITY INITIATIVES: The Racial and Economic Justice Committee of ICPJ has been working for equal access to healthcare, affordable prescription medications, fair housing, employment opportunity and many other public policy issue related to health equity. The Unnatural Causes Task force has been formed to use the Unnatural Causes series to build greater awareness of health equity issues.

Our hope is to partner with other community organizations to schedule multiple showings of the Unnatural Causes films, and by raising awareness of the issue, to build a broader community coalition for action on any and all of the focus areas that affect health equity.
