HEALTH EQUITY INITIATIVES: SCPH has begun our health equity work with an eye toward internal capacity. We are working to create an equitable environment within our department and strive to make all our policies and services equitable as well as culturally competent. Our next step will begin with the screening of Unnatural Causes at our local community forums where we hope to gain insight from our community as to what root causes the department should work on.

- Host a screening event featuring UNNATURAL CAUSES
- Engage in media outreach
- Use the series and materials in trainings or classes
- Post and share information about the series with members and constituents
